Students have more knowledge about technology. Students are also much more motivated when technology is used in a lesson. I enjoy putting students in situations where they can use and develop their tech skills. I feel technology will continue to take a larger role in the education of our youth and could become equally as important as classroom teachers. A system where technology delivers daily instruction and adjusts to meet the needs of individual students could become a reality. We will always need teachers, but their roles would certainly change. What amazes me is how easy these technology applications seem for our students. They know so much more than I do because technology is part of their culture.
